Matthew2535, Inc. has immediate needs for funding which will enable us to push forward in our efforts to establish Victory Center - a homeless vocational/educational training center and transitional shelter in the Tampa area. God gave us such a vision over 3 years ago, and we believe that He is calling us into action now to accomplish that very goal. The "transitional" housing program is so-called because it provides a safe haven in which men can learn and grow prior to residence in permanent housing. At Victory Center men will have an opportunity to get a GED or high school diploma; learn a set of skills or a trade which make them employable; partake is counseling geared specifically to their emotional and spiritual needs; and, participate in a program of self-sufficiency with Christ as the focal point. The 18-month program is intended primarily for non-addicted homeless men who have a fervent desire to leave the streets permanently.
Would you be willing to partner with Matthew2535 and Concerned Action in Christ to see that the vision is realized? We need partners willing to lease, sell, or donate a building suitable for transitional housing and training, and we need partners to help fund the on-going, Christ-centered program which will make homeless men self-sufficient. Victory Center can become a reality when we give as God leads!
